About the Fens

The Fens Magazine

Fens Magazine cover

Issue two of The Fens Magazine was launched over Easter and copies have been selling fast! This edition was given a makeover by editor Pep Cipriano who made changes to the print, design and content of the magazine to bring it in line with the quality of other Fens Tourism publications.

As with the launch issue (July 2003) The Fens Magazine is aimed at something to read for tourists during their short break visits to the area. The magazine also proved popular with locals, prompting Fens Tourism to issue the publication on a more frequent basis.

The current edition is packed with news, features, special offers and competitions based on the beauty and individuality of the Fens and its people. In an extensive interview with the magazine, David Bellamy shares his passion for The Fens, which he regularly visits in his capacity as Honorary President of The Fens Tourism Group.

The Fens Magazine is part-financed by the European Union and Lincolnshire County Council.
